The Music Boosters is a service organization that provides direct parent volunteers to help to the music programs. Your child is fortunate to participate in this exemplary music program. To continue this tradition of excellence, parent participation is absolutely essential and expected for the benefit of your child.
Many parents who have been active elementary school volunteers, are unaware of the need for the continued parent support in the Middle and High Schools. Events, concerts and trips need chaperones, dinners for the musical groups need helpers, fundraisers that allow experiences far beyond the traditional curriculum, and scholarships provided for needy students, all need your support.
These and many other services only make your child's Kaneland music experience more memorable and enriched. The benefits to you will be continued involvement in productive relationships with your own and other students, gaining new friends in other parents of music students, as well a deep sense of making all of these programs happen.
