Aaron Puckett
Percussion Director - High School

Aaron Puckett has taught in the Kaneland district since 2001 as a percussion teacher. He also teaches percussion in the Wheaton school district, and has taught at various other districts in the area since 1999. This is his first year acting as part of the high school staff. He is very excited about continuing to work with the Percussion Ensembles and now the Jazz Ensemble. 

Originally from the Dallas area, he completed his undergraduate in music education at Texas Christian University, and his Masters in Percussion Performance at Northern Illinois University. He also works with Campus Missions International, an interdenominational Christian student organization on the campus of NIU.  He has also recently discovered that he may be genetically predisposed to play golf, inherited from his grandfather.
